How accurate is Site Stack?
Detection works by scanning network requests, DOM fingerprints, and known global variables. Common stacks (React, Next.js, Vue, Tailwind, Stripe, Segment, GA4) are identified with very high confidence. Obscure or heavily-customized setups may show fewer hits.
Can sites hide their stack from this?
Yes — sufficiently aggressive obfuscation will hide most fingerprints. DevZap reports what's reasonably detectable; it won't fabricate guesses.
How is this different from Wappalyzer?
Same general idea, much faster UI, and bundled with the rest of DevZap so you don't need a second extension.
